Outcomes of clinical studies of periapical procedures (parendodontic surgery): a systematic review

Introduction: The attempt to contain microbial proliferation does not prove be viable or solvable through coronary access, periapical parendodontic surgery is indicated as a therapeutic complement. Periapical intended provide healing periradicular tissues, generating rehabilitation of dental function, which in cases such retro filling and tissue repair. Objective: It was carry out systematic review elucidate the main approaches apical lesions other complications evidence from clinical studies endodontic surgery. Methods: rules PRISMA Platform were followed. research carried April June 2023 Scopus, PubMed, Science Direct, Scielo, Google Scholar databases. quality based on GRADE instrument risk bias analyzed according Cochrane instrument. Results Conclusion: A total 127 articles found, 47 evaluated full 18 included developed this study. Considering tool for bias, overall assessment resulted 13 with high 21 that did meet GRADE.
